Participants wanted for two research studies!
Studies Seeking Sexual Assault Survivor Participants:
- From Christine Weingarten at the University of Hawai’i
If you are a survivor of sexual assault and/or rape, please consider participating in a study exploring the types of therapeutic services and healing practices used by survivors. The study is an anonymous, 30-minute, online survey with an optional follow-up phone interview. The purpose of this study is to increase awareness and understanding of the healing process after sexual violence in order to hopefully improve services for survivors.
- From Lauren Hamrick at the University of Tennessee
Participants are needed for a research study examining how women make sense of their experience of sexual assault and manage their recovery. If you are a woman aged 18 years or older and have experienced one or more incidents of unwanted sexual contact as an adult (i.e., when you were 16 years or older), you are eligible to participate. Your responses to the survey items will be kept confidential. The online survey takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete.
