The Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence (MNADV) has an opportunity for you and your organization to support our private, non-profit 501(c) 3 organization and increase your visibility in the domestic violence community.
Our Biennial Statewide Conference will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Annapolis. The conference will begin at 8:00 AM with a networking opportunity followed by a keynote speaker. This year’s keynote speaker is Alicia Sanchez Gill, a survivor and advocate who for many years has engaged in intersectional work through various gender-based violence, HIV housing advocacy, sex worker organizing and LGBTQ programming.
Domestic violence happens every day in Maryland to individuals regardless of age, gender, economic status, race, religion, sexual orientation, education or ability. For 39 years, the MNADV has served as the state domestic violence coalition that brings together victim service providers, allied professionals, and concerned individuals for the common purpose of reducing intimate partner and family violence and its harmful effects.
The theme of the conference is an invitation for the community to reclaim what was taken, renew our faith and commitment to preventing violence, and restore our compassion and the will to heal from harm. We hope that you will join us in in our commitment by sponsoring this conference.
