This training will provide an overview of Restorative Response Baltimore’s (formerly Community Conferencing Center) 20-year history of conflict resolution and restorative practices work, by providing an introduction to the principles behind their work and sharing case studies of restorative practices in action in school, juvenile justice, and community settings. Trainers will provide a brief introduction to their current research and planning process on using restorative justice and community accountability processes for interpersonal violence, followed by a facilitated dialogue to address questions and challenges associated with providing a restorative process to survivors of intimate partner and sexual violence.
